Hey beauties, if you have been reading my blog for a while you may know I have a slight obsession with magazines. In fact slight is putting it mildly it is pretty full on.
One of my favourites to read is Marie Claire and back in May they gave away an Avon Perfect Kiss Lipstick with their magazine. This was my idea of heaven mixing two of my favourite things together lipsticks and magazines.
I got the shade Smitten Red and it is a bold raspberry colour. Not too pink but not completely red. I had never tried a lipstick from Avon before and I have to say I am impressed!
The colour works really well with my skin tone. It leaves a nice moisturised feeling to the lips when you apply it. It can run on the edges on my lips so I make sure I apply lipliner and that usually does the trick.
As you can see from the swatch the pigmentation is great. It is not sheer but not too heavy so perfect for those wanting to slightly up their lipstick from a sheer tint.
Avon's Smitten Red lasts about 3 hours on the lips before I feel the need to reapply it. This lipstick is great for a lunchtime meet up with friends or a coffee as even though the colour does fade it does not smudge and leaves an even finish.
