Hi there ladies, how are you all today? If you're in the UK I hope you are enjoying all the lovely weather we are having at the moment.
For todays blog post, I thought I would mix it up a little and talk about a bath product I have been loving. I am a huge fan of Soap and Glory. My blog is full of their products from their hand cream to their body butters. One thing that I have been itching to try was one of their scrubs.
I hadn't used a scrub like this before so I brought a mini version to begin with and tested it out. They after my Scrub Actually scrub finished (another S&G product!) I went a bought this in full size.
My skin feels so soft after using this. I have really dry skin and I feel like this really helps keep it at bay. Scrubs are meant to exfoliate your skin taking away any dryness you may have leaving it all soft and smooth and this is exactly what it does.
Made from Shea Butter, Almond Oil and Parsley seed Oil to name a few means that the body becomes hydrated. It also has a sweet scent to it, which although it may stay for a while does not linger. It isn't overpowering either even in the shower. It gives enough scent to make you feel clean and fresh but not too much that you scream 'Look at me I just had a shower.'
If you are something who reads ingredients then just know this does not have parabens or sulfates (from what I can tell) in it making it a win win situation.
Even though it is an exfoliator and has small grains to rub against your skin it is not harsh at all. It is quite soft so if you have sensitive skin it may be worth giving it a go!
As with all of Soap and glory products the packaging is adorable. It is retro/ vintage as well as being cool. You also get a lot of product in the tub so it lasts for a while. I brought this at the beginning of May and both me and my mum (and I am pretty sure my sister) use this and we haven't finished it yet.
There are a lot of different kinds of scrubs by Soap and Glory which I dying to try. I think the next one will be the breakfast scrub. It smells like maple syrup in a bottle.
As always, another great product from Soap and Glory.
Flake retails for £7.00 and you can find it at Boots stores in the 3 for 2 sale right now.
Have you tried Flake Away?
Let me know what you think?
Lots of love
