May Favourites 2013

Hey lovelies, how is your week going so far? Hope it going well. Today I thought I would share with you my May favourites. I have quite a lot of beauty stuff this week with a few non beauty things thrown in there.

Beauty Favourites

Organix Morrocan Oil
If you read my blog regularly you may have already seen my review of this. It is a blend of Morrocan Argon Oil (no - you haven't herd of it? thought so ;) ) that I have been using everytime I wash my hair. You apply it to damp hair and it leaves it soft silky and hydrated. It has become a staple in my hair care routine and smells amazing!

Nivea Lip Butter - Raspberry
I have YouTube to thank for this lovely re discovery. I brought it and reviewed it back when it first came out last year. It was ok but I wouldn't say it was my favourite. Recently I  herd a lot of YouTubers talk about this range and one night when I forgot my Korres Lip Butter downstairs I decided to give it a try. Surisingly, I really like it, it keeps your lips smooth and hydrated, perfect for after using a lip exfoliator.

Kate Moss Lipstick 111
As much as I love a red lip this is one shade I tend to reserve for the evening or a special occasion. Recently though I have been wearing it during the day. Its perfect type of matte red lipstick. It is smudge proof with a lip liner and you can eat and drink with just a hint of fading. The lasting power is one of the best. A great budget friendly red lipstick. What is not to love?!

Revlon Lip Butter - Raspberry pie
Yes, I know I took a while to get in to the Revlon Lip Butter craze. I have not reviewed this yet  (It is coming soon I promise) I know it is a popular shade but it is a recent purchase of mine. I love the pigmentation and the colour is absolutely stunning! It is the perfect deep pink raspberry colour. It lasts a stupidly long time for a lip butter. Really glad I decided to get this after eyeing it up for a while.

Soap and Glory Pom Pom
Again this is a relatively new purchase of mine too. I brought it while Soap and glory were having their 3 or 2 sale on cosmetics. I love their bath and body stuff but hadn't tried a lot of their make up. I had been eyeing this shade up for such a long time. Seeing Sami wear this in her videos eventually pushed me over the edge to invest in it. I am so glad I did. I have been wearing this most days since I bought it. A full review is coming up during the week.

Maybelline 24hr Colour tattoo- Pink Gold
For as long as I can remember I have a been a gold neutrals kind of girl. I was pretty boring and stuck to similar shades a lot. Recently though I have been loving this pink champagne colour on my lids. I am a huge fan of the Colour tattoos in general but this is so beautiful I've worn it far too much this month. It is subtle enough that you can wear it during the day but also warm enough and buildable to wear in the evening.

Non Beauty Favourites

Rowse honey - Pure and Natural
If you had asked me even just six months ago if I liked honey, I would have laughed. It seriously is the last thing I would expect to be on my favourites but it is. I have this on crumpets and in my morning tea. I love it.

Allure and Marie Claire Magazines
I am a magazine hoarder. This is no secret all you have to do is see my huge collection of them on my bookshelf to know my obsession. I've particularly loved these two magazines this month. The articles in them as always were intriguing but they stood out more this month as they were all about female empowerment whether this was about body image or being confident. It was refreshing and I loved reading them.

Urban Fruits - Strawberry
Now you all know I love some dry fruit. One of my all time favourites is the strawberries from Urban Fruits. I love strawberries in general but I eat these things like candy. I buy 2 packets a week and have to ration them so they last till my next grocery shop. Obsession? I think so.

So there you have it. All the things I have been loving this month.

Whats on your may favourites list?

Lots of love
Nafisah
