Make up Monday - What's on my face - sun kissed edition

Hello beautiful ladies and gentleman. Happy new week, hope it is a good one.  I haven't done a what's on my face post in a while so I thought I would share the latest look I have been going for. I've been incorporating a few new things in my routine and in general I quite like the look.

I've been testing out a couple primers before I buy one and diving in the world of cream blushes which I really like. I like the way this makes my face less cakey and over all just feels better on my skin.

So what have I been using I hear you ask? well let me show you. After moisturising my face about an hour before hand I prime my face. At the moment I am using a sample of the Smashbox photo finish primer. Which is good but I prefer a less silicone based primer so to make this work for me I put just a dash of the Loreal Lumi Magique illuminating primer with it. If you want to do this make sure it is just a little as it is best used as a highlighter.

I apply it with my fingers as you normally do with a primer. I then go in with my NARS Tinted Moisturiser in the shade St Moritz. I dab some on my fingers and then work it in on my skin with my fingers. I love this as it evens out my skin tone and creates a great base.

To lighten up my under eyes especially when I've had little or no sleep I use my Benefit Fake it* concealer. By far one of the best things I have in my collection. I blend it in by lightly tapping it in with my Real Techniques foundation brush.

Then to give my face a little bit more colour I go with my Arbonne Bronzer*. I like it but it is very pigmented and shimmery so a little can go a long way. When I apply this I generally use my RT Contour brush but recently I've been using that for something else so I use my Bare Minerals buffing brush. Its nothing special but it blends the bronzer in quite well.

Now for the new additions to my make up routine. When I mean new, I have only just started using these for the past few weeks.

I started looking in to cream blushes and after thinking about it way more than any sane person would I decided to go for the Max Factor new release in Soft Murano. The colour range is pretty good but this one will work for most olive skin tones. I dab a little on the tops of my cheeks and blend it in with my RT Buffing brush. I really like the finish this blush gives me on my face. It doesn't look cakey and gives it a very natural flush of colour.

The to finish off I lightly dab some of the highlighter from my Sleek Contour Kit in the shade medium. I use the RT Contour brush for this and just put it on the tops of my cheeks along my nose for a natural glow. I've only started using it but I am liking it at the moment.

We are nearly at the end I promise - On the eyes I kept it nice and simple with MUA Eye Primer and Benefits Creamless eye shadow in No Pressure which is amazing! Followed up with the Maybelline The Falsies Mascara.

Then to end it I've been opting between two lipsticks. I use my lip liner by Rimmel in Indian Pink and go for either MAC Craving or Soap and Glory's Pom Pom lipstick.

And there you have it voila my version of a sun kissed look.
