Good morning lovelies hope you are not stuck in a Monday stump and ready for a new day. If you remember last month I did a beauty things I suck at post.
Make up is about having, experimenting with pretty colours and expressing yourself. So I said I would be working on my improving my skills so I suck a little less at them.
The first thing I decided to tackle is the eye liner. Here is how I went on
Preparation
I like to be prepared so I decided to watch some tutorials and tips on YouTube.
I watched three videos by the lovely Meg and the PixiWoo sisters. I then read Anna's post on eyes (a must read)
After this I felt I was in a better position to not worry I would poke myself in the eye so I went ahead and gave it a go.
What I used
At first I used the Maybelline Master Precise pen which was ok and did the job but it was going to run out and not the best for those who like me have unsteady hands.
Meg recommends the Supercat eye liner from Soap and Glory so while they were on three for two I went to have a look. I am so glad I did. I would really recommend this if you are new to eye liner.
I also used this No7 mirror which I got on sale at christmas time. It is perfect for perfectionists like me and you can really see everything in it.
How did I do?
As we established, I do not have the steadiest of hands so I had a fair few tries before it was anywhere near close to being wearable. I still need to work on my flick but it could be a lot worse.
What do you think?
What are your top tips for eye liner application?
Lots of love
