Skincare Sunday - The shower edition

Happy Sunday lovelies, hope you're all having a wonderful weekend. If you have read my blog regularly you will know I don't really do baths. I just feel like I don't have the time. I am trying to rectify that now but in the meantime I thought I would talk about my showers.

I love taking my time choosing nice smelling beauty products and then using them. It adds to the nice routine of a shower making it more enjoyable and feel more like a pampering session.

So...I thought I would show you what I use and why I like them.

The first thing I do when I get in the shower is wash my hair. I don't have a specific aligance when it comes to which brands I go for. I try to go for the more natural stuff but one brand I do go back too often is Tressemme. My mum picked up the Tresemme Natural range for us to try. It is not 100% natural BUT I do like it. It does the job of keeping my hair feeling clean and healthy. I want to try the new platinum strength range next so let me know if you have tried that.

Leaving my conditioner in I use the Palmolive natural ultra moisturising wash milk in the scent Olive. My mum chose this but I do like this. It smells fresh and helps you feeling squeaky clean. I do have Soap and Glory's clean on me that I was given as a present to try next and cannot wait to try it next.

This is probably my favourite thing to do and that is use a body scrub. I have quite dry skin on my body so it kind of crave this step. At the moment I am using Soap and Glory Flake Away. This is perfection in a tub. I use it all over to take away any dry skin. It leaves my skin feeling all soft, silky and smooth. A definite  must have.

The after shower process is rather quick and easy. I slather a healthy amount of Soap and Glory's smooth star body butter. It is rich but light and absorbs really quickly. I reviewed it here but in short I aboslutely love it. it leaves me feeling like I smell sweet and fresh.

I have also just bought Garnier beauty oil which I am stoked to try soon!

I also put copious amount of lip balm, face cream and hand cream on as coming out of the shower they also needs to be moisturised.

And that is pretty much it!

Anything in particular you all use and cannot live without in your shower routine?

Lots of love
Nafisah
