Hey hey beauties, hope you all aren't too tired from the long weekend.
From the title of this post I already know what you're thinking...Yes I know I know yet another lipstick.
The Maybelline lipstick Pink Punch 175 is one I have had in my collection for a couple of years now. I brought it when I was in university. (which feels like a lifetime ago)
It is a nice bright fushia pink but it actually looks a bit more vibrant and full on in the bullet than it
come's off on my lips.
The formula of this reminds of the satin finish of MAC lipsticks. Its matte but creamy and slightly glossy to the touch.
As it is a bold colour and the formula can be a bit thick I would definitely recommend applying a lip liner underneath.
It is one of the harder lipsticks to apply, which can be a bit of a headache when dealing with bold lips as the bullet is quite wide. I prefer the more traditional kind of bullets to apply lipstick with. It is workable though just takes a couple of practises.
It is a good and affordable way to try and incorporate a bold lip in to your collection if you want to try it out but do not want to invest a lot in to it at first.
Generally, the maybelline lipsticks are quite nice and worth looking in too if you haven't already.
You can find this lipstick at maybelline stands in Boots and Superdrug for £7.19
Have you tried any maybelline lipsticks yet?
Lots of love
