Hey beautifuls, so it is no secret I love bold lips not only that I love red lips. I am forever looking for a great red lipstick.
Bold lipsticks can be hard to find on the high street. The quality is not always good or the lasting power is not there. That was until Rimmel collaborated with Kate Moss. She has two collections and I have to say both impress me.
This has been out in stores for a while now but I had to share this with you. The shade 01 is a deep true red. the kind of red that generally screams elegance and sophistication when applied properly.
It is very pigmented a little goes a long way. It is not matte in the same way that most red lipsticks are, it is quite moisturising which can be refreshing if you don't like the dryness some matte lipsticks can give you.
Like all bold lips, you do need a lip liner but it applies so so easy. A lot of red lips can be hard to apply properly. they usually smudge and can annoy you. This does not, it really is my go to red lipstick when I just want something easy to put on.
The lasting power of this lipstick and from the range is really impressive especially from a high street. The colour does fade of course when you eat but evenly and as long as you have lip liner on it doesn't smudge all over the place.
I want to end with the packaging. I will admit it, I love a good packaged lipstick and this looks really sleek.
Over all this is a beautiful colour and lipstick. I already have more shades from the collection (which is huge) on my wish list.
