Hey girls, this make up monday I thought I would show you something that is a little bit outside my confort zone.
I was invited to my mum's best friends son wedding last weekend which was lovely. Me and my sister decided to wear the same clothes but in different shades which means I had to change my make up a lot more than I am use too.
I kept my base the same with my Bare Minerals Prime Time primer. I then used my Real Techniques Buffing Brush to put my NARS tinted moisturiser on for as flawless finish as possible.
My next move is something you've rarely seen in my WOMF posts and that's using concealer. I used the Benefit's Fake Up* concealer. Its fairly new to my collection but it is already a firm favourite and possible holy grail product. It keeps my under eyes hydrated and bright without caking up like most concealers do.
Then, due to the horrid weather we've been having lately I felt I looked a little pale and unhealthy so I decided to use NARS Laguna bronzer. Unfortunately, this isn't mine aha. I persuaded my mum to treat herself which she rarely does to the happening palette. I never used this before but ever since I have wanted to use it!
I moved on to the cheeks after that which again I decided to slightly up. I decided to go the whole hogg and use the NARS Orgasm blush from the palette too. It was still natural - not too overdone but gave me a bit more of a shimmer and glow.
Then for my eyes, this puzzled me a little as I rarely venture out of my neutral / pinks and gold shades. I was wearing silver in my clothes so that wouldn't work. I used three eye products and blended them all together. I first put on my MUA eye primer. Then I applied Benefits creamless eye shadow in No Pressure lightly. On top of that I applied my Maybelline 24 hour colour tattoo in eternal silver and to soften it up a little I put on the silver colour from my sleek sparkle 2 palette. I still need to perfect my blending technique but hey ho I think it turned out ok. I used my Real Techniques shading brush to add the colours then the blending side of my urban decay brush to blend it all out.
I also lined my eyes which I really do not do apart from on special occasions (not going to lie it is probably because I am rubbish at applying it) I used the Rimmel Scandaleyes khol in black. It's really creamy and easy to use. I would recommend them to everyone but especially if you are just starting to experiment eye liners.
On my lashes I then used my Maybelline The falsies mascara in black drama which I love. Then it was time for the brows and these I kept the same using the shade black out from the Naked 2 palette and my Barry M angle brush.
Last but probably one of my favorite things to do was the lips. I wanted some pink colour so I lined my lips with my Rimmel lip liner in Indian Pink and then went over it with MAC Craving.
It was pretty longer than my normal make up routine but hey it was wedding so I indulged a little bit in make up.
Whats do you all think?
Lots of love
