Hi everyone! I haven't written about a television show in such a long time. I think the last thing I wrote about was Mr Selfridge and that was back in December?
In all honesty, I haven't really watched anything new or much TV. I've been busy with my course so when I go get some time to watch something I tend to catch up on my fav YouTubers.
Anyway, ramblings aside the show I want to tell you about is called Nashville.
If you know me, you may know I like country music. Its upbeat, thoughtful lyrics and can put you in a really good mood. I like to be happy and country music can definitely do that.
The show is about a country superstar Rena who has past the prime of her career having to deal with the new and upcoming country star Julliette (played by Hayden Panettiere)
They are both on the same label and are forced to work together. The show sees them go on tour and deal with the issues they face in their everyday life. Life of a famous musician - turns out not as glamorous as many of us think.
There are also mini storyline's in the show with the other characters. Without giving too much away, the stories include a teenager finding confidence in her singing and some past secrets that creep back up on to the service.
I really like watching this at the end of the day. They story line is just right for me. Not too heavy but not too light either. You don't have to think too hard.
You can just soak yourself in to the story with a cup of tea after a long day - which is what I want out of a TV show!
There is quite a lot of singing, as you would expect, in the show which I love.
