Hi ladies, hope Monday is treating you all well! I haven't done a 'whats on my face' for a while so I thought I would do one today.
On Thursday, I took one of my close friends Sam to see Olly Murs. We had an amazing time, he is so amazing! Just like what he seems like on TV.
Anyway enough drooling, you wanna know what I had on my face. Not a lot changed but I had to make sure my make up lasted from about 3 till 11:30 at night.
On my face, to prime I moisurised using my Liz Earle Skin repair cream. I usually do this and then get changed so it has time to absorb in to my skin. I then primed my face using this prime time primer from Bare Minerals. It's a sample size but a little goes a long way. I really like this but I'm about to run out of it boo :(
I then used my NARS tinted moisturiser. I'm the colour St Moritz. I started using my fingers to apply this. It worked really well as it helps the blood flow around your face giving you a better finish.
I then put some of my NARS Deep Throat on the apples of my cheek. I don't put a lot on, just a bit to give my face a bit of a glow. If you're looking for a light coloured blush, I really recommend this one. it is really easy to apply and you can blend it really well.
Then, it was time to sort out my eyes. I am a shimmer eye shadow kind of a girl. I apreciate matte shades but I love shimmer. I used Chopper and YDK together from the Naked 2 palette to give a rose gold kind of shimmer. I love both of these shades, they are two of my faves from the palette. I used the Real Techniques shading brush for that.
I then go to the brows, Using the shade Blackout from the Naked 2. It fills my brows in nicely without being too harsh. I used the Barry M angle brush to do this. It is super cheap and does the job.
Then for mascara, I was fortunate to win the Benefit's There Real Mascara in a quiz at a event they held last week (more on that tomorrow. I had been lusting after it for the longest time and was so happy to be able to try it. I have only used it a few times but I like it so far.
Then to end the face I worked on the lips. I love bold lips so I lined with my Rimmel lip Liner in Red Dynamite then applied my Kate Moss lipstick in 01. I love this shade, it's like a true deep red. I'll be reviewing it soon if any of you are interested.
So that is what I wore, it is pretty simple and easy but I like it. It lasted all night.
