Bourjois Rouge Edition #18 Violine Strass

Hey ladies, I know another week, another lipstick post from me. What can I say? There is a reason I called myself a lipstick addict aha.

The lipstick that I want to talk to you about is the new releases from Bourjois. I had been wanting to try out their rouge edition lipsticks ever since I read Katie's blogpost about them.

I have never really tried anything from them before but the colour range looked amazing and a lot people had been raving about it. My Sam has the one in number 7 and she loves it. So after my exam last week I decided to treat myself to one.

The shade I got was 18 Violine Strass which is a nice plummy sort of colour. I have to say I was quite impressed.

The pigmentation on this was great especially for a drugstore/ high street lipstick. It gives the impact of colour that you want when you buy a lipstick that shade. It fades when you eat but it doesn't smudge so you don't end up with lipstick all over your face after you eat.

The consistency was creamy and light. It wasn't harsh and applied quite well. I do wish they had the normal dome lipstick shape at the top to make it even easier to apply. It sill applied well so I can't say it bugged me too much.

They have a huge colour variety too. There are 18 shades in total (according to the website) which is pretty impressive. If you don't like colour but like the idea go do some swatching and see if there is one you like.

The lasting power is ok, it last for a few hours and it doesn't dry out your lips which is a bonus.

Lastly, if you are huge fan of packaging, this will sink you in right in. The packing is sleek, classy and you can see what colour. You wouldn't expect looking at it that it was under £10.00

You can pick these up at your local Bourjois counter and they retail at £5.99 which is a reasonable price as you definitely get your money worth.

Have you tried hese yet? if you have what do you think?

Lots of love
Nafisah
