I actually forgot I had this lipstick for a while. It was one I wore when I was at uni quite a lot and I realised I haven't spoken about it so I thought I would tell you all what I think.
I have a bit of a love hate relationship with this lipstick. The colour is amazing. It is a very your lips but better kind of shade on me and the pigmentation is great. A lot of colour appears on your lips as you can see from the swatch on my arm.
The formula to this is very good too, it is one of the things that reminded me why I liked it. It is so creamy which makes it very easy too apply. The lasting power is quite good, it lasts at least 3 hours before I felt I had to reapply it but I like reapplying lipstick anyway so this doesn't bother too much.
The one thing I would say though is that it can smudge when you eat and drink. I don't normally have this problem with lipsticks but I found it smudged when I ate. This isn't too much of a problem if you are just out and about shopping grabbing a quick coffee or something because it is easy to fix but it is not a lipstick I would wear if I was going out for a meal or a special occasion where there would be food. You can also try using a lipliner with this to see if this stops it from happening (it usually does)
I really like the colour for me to not want to wear it. I do usually save this for when I am just going out for a couple of hours grocery shopping or to a meeting somewhere. It is a good everyday kind of colour lipstick.
Over all this lipstick is not my favourite but it is not the worse I have tried either. It is easy to get at the maybelline counters at boots and superdrug
