To kick off this new feature I thought I would share with you all what my everyday make up routine is and what products I use. I am pretty certain this will change over time but I have been using these combination of products quite constantly over the last few months. As you can see it is pretty minimalist but I do change it up for occasions.
For my base, I use the Garnier Nutrisse BB Cream which I did a full review of here. I really like it as it lasts for a long time and provides me with a really good amount of coverage. I apply it using a Real Techniques foundation brush to give me a flawless finish.
For lips, it depends on my outfit and what I feel like putting on my eyes but I usually use either MAC Craving or fast play. I love both these colors. I am bold lip kind of girl during the day too so I am always changing my lips.
On my eyes, the palette I usually reach for is my Naked 2 palette which I have had for a month now (review coming soon!) I love the shimmery shades in it and the pigmentation is amazing. The most colours used for everyday are snakebite, tease and suspect. I use a Real Techniques shading brush to apply it as it feels really smooth when on my lids.
I have quite gappy eyebrows too so to define them I fill them in with black eye shadow. I am going to do a separate blog post as to how and why I do this but I use any black eye shadow to do this with. I am using the black pot in my Sleek Oh so special palette at the moment and I use a Barry M angle brush to apply it with.
So that is my everyday make up. I love taking time applying make up before I head out and using the above products which I would wholeheartedly recommend to any of you.
