Love is louder is a movement and campaign set up by Brittany Snow ( from John Tucker must die) The Jed Foundation and MTV. It is for young people across the world who feel lonely. bullied, have low self esteem and face depression. It aims to spread the message that love is louder than hate and to remember that no matter what is going wrong and how alone you feel, there is someone out there who cares for you.
I decided to blog about this because I feel like this is a really good message to send out to young people. A lot of young people have trouble believing in themselves and the notion that others believe in them too. What this leads too is them not fighting for want out of live and striving to achieve their potential, something which they could regret later on.
There are so many ways you can get involved. You can simply just mention it to your friends. Write love is louder on your hand/arm or a poster take a picture and upload it to the website. You can also download a action kit and organise an event to make people aware an organisation like Love is Louder actually exists. You can social network about it through promoting their facebook page and twitter.

This is something I am really passionate about, people knowing they are appreciated and reaching out to them before they recline back in to themselves in to a state which leads ultimately to depression which can be hard to overcome!
