First of all this is not going to be a political party post. I have my views on who to vote for but ultimately, that is up to you. I know there are many people out there who don't vote so i thought i would tell you all why i think it is important to vote at all and why politics is important.
1 - It is a democratic right - It is your right to vote so why not vote.
2 - It affects you - Whoever gets elected will have an impact on the way your local council is run so wouldn't you like to have a say rather than not vote and be upset about the outcome?
